The world premiere of ARUKU took place at the Camera Japan Festival held in the Netherlands in the fall of 2025. The film placed fifth in the Audience Award category among 50 entries, including feature-length fiction films.

The Belgian Premiere of ARUKU took place at the Japan Square Film Festival held in the Ghent, Belgium in March of 2026.
